This Week's Featured Cake:
Three Tier Little Deer Baby Shower Cake:
This was a round 3-tiered cake for a baby boy baby shower. The client used a deer theme in the baby's nursery and wanted it incorporated in the cake. This cake was a chocolate with chocolate mousse filling, yellow with pastry cream filling, and white with white chocolate mousse filling surrounded in vanilla buttercream and decorated in vanilla rolled fondant. The bow and ribbon was made with a dark chocolate rolled fondant and the little deer was hand painted.

This Week's Featured Cake:
Christmas Tree Cake
This was a 3-tiered Chocolate cake with Chocolate Mousse filling and Butter Yellow cake with Pastry Cream filling. Each tier was cut to shape and then stacked and covered in Vanilla Buttercream piped to look like pine needles. The pictures do not do this cake justice. The ornaments were actually hand painted metallic silver and shimmer gold to resemble realistic ornaments. The star was also painted shimmery old and then heavily dusted with sparkly gold shimmer dust. This cake was much shinier, shimmery and prettier in person.

Last Weekend's Featured Cake:
Another "Baby" Cake....
Okay, so this "Baby" cake was a white chocolate with white chocolate mousse cake wrapped in buttercream and rolled fondant. This was more "client specific." They had me add a few elements that were sentimental to the cake recipient, including the stuffed puppy, round cake drum, coloring, and the wrap around bow and gift tag. It was an honor to do this cake for a couple that just adopted a new baby girl born on September 8!

CAKE. by Sarah Jane
Welcome to my new cake site! I've been getting slammed with cakes lately and the requests just keep coming in at full force. I figured it was time to finally set up a page dedicated just to my cakes. I think I'm starting to progress past the "just family, friends and word of mouth" phase and into a whole new and exciting phase of my cake design and decorating.
As requested, I've provided a place to now showcase a few examples and prices. This site will grow as my cakes and I grow.
Enjoy!
Enjoy!
